Australia’s Camilla Collaborates on ‘Wicked’ Capsule

 A wickedly beautiful collaboration that defies gravity and expectation.

The rich, theatrical world of WICKED meets the magical realm of CAMILLA.


The luxurious realm of CAMILLA meets the enchanted Land of Oz as fashion designer Camilla Franks unveils three fabulous new prints inspired by the generation-defining cinematic event, WICKED – coming to theatres this holiday season from Universal Pictures.


In an exclusive global collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, CAMILLA artisans have delved into this magical world to produce enthralling storytelling. This unique OZmilla range of wearable artworks will have you “Dancing Through Life.”


The WICKED x CAMILLA collection includes pieces for women, men, and children, as well as accessories. With 85 styles across the collection, key silhouettes encompass über cool bomber jackets, silk dresses and gowns, along with printed shirts, shorts and tees – all featuring incredible bespoke graphic prints that are unique and true to both WICKED and the CAMILLA brand aesthetic. WICKED x CAMILLA is set to launch globally on 13th November 2024.


“I am always drawn to travel, finding inspiration wherever I go. Our journey to the vibrant world of Oz is a visual feast. My in-house design team and I were granted unprecedented access to the WICKED archives, and we have captured something essentially powerful and beautiful,” says Camilla Franks. “I strongly believe in empowering young women, and this story of friendship, empowerment and loyalty is particularly resonant for me.”


Inspired by Elphaba and her journey to the Emerald City, the Defy Gravity print is, naturally, a sumptuous green with architectural gold, where quotes from the movie – and Elphaba’s iconic hat – embrace classic CAMILLA motifs of leopard print and feathers. Among the fantastical fashions, CAMILLA devotees will discover a long bias slip dress with train, chic wide legged pants and a matching tailored blazer. Intriguing embellishments and intricate embroidery adorn oversized crop tees, bomber jackets and eternally en-vogue kaftans.


The Totally OZmopolitan print is inspired by the feminine, beautiful and - did we mention? - popular Glinda. In this covetable print, motifs of bubbles, butterflies and florals encounter elements of tarot cards on a shimmering pink background. Channel the magic in spellbinding silhouettes including an organic cotton poplin ruffled wrap top, a curved collar blouse or a mini skirt with 3D embroidery.


Meanwhile, Munchkinland is a whimsical print that combines the icons of the friendship between Glinda and Elphaba, celebrating the magic of an enchanted realm in blue skies, rainbows and tulip fields, scattered joyfully across styles like the short V neck kaftan, tiered dress and oversized tee.
