London: 19 January 2018 – Fast & Furious Live, the awe-inspiring and groundbreaking live arena spectacular from Universal Brand Development and Fast Live Productions premiered today at London’s O2 arena. For the very first time, the action and excitement from one of the most popular and enduring film series of all time came to life in front of a live audience at the O2. With 42 vehicles, including nine cars directly from the Fast & Furious films, the action-packed arena production was realised through the use of 3D projection mapping techniques, record-breaking LED usage (44,000 on one vehicle alone) and a new Fast & Furious storyline – Fast & Furious Live is set to change audiences’ expectations of live arena productions.

Dom Toretto himself, Fast & Furious star and producer Vin Diesel, attended the opening and introduced the world premiere of Fast & Furious Live in front of a packed crowd that was attended  by Nicola Roberts, Shane Ritchie, Kirstie Allsopp, Karen Clifton, Amelia Lily, Adrian Schiller, Steven Berkoff, Dynao, Olivia Buckland and many more from the worlds of film, TV, sport and motoring. Set in locations that criss cross the globe and featuring favourite cars from the franchise, precision performance driving and physics-defying stunts, the two-hour show transported the audience straight into an immersive extension of the Fast & Furious blockbusters.

Creative director and executive producer, Fast & Furious Live, Rowland French said: “It has been an incredible journey to get to the world premiere. From the heat of flaming exhausts to vehicular acrobatics, scene after scene unfolds—enhanced by the most advanced digital projection technology imaginable. Featuring several original cars from the films, as well as exact replicas of fan favourites — from Dom’s legendary Dodge Charger to the flip car from Fast & Furious 6, Fast & Furious Live evokes some of the boldest moments from the franchise.

The show features the world’s best stunt performers and drivers, as well as some of the leading parkour athletes—resulting in a truly global cast who perform incredible stunts and never-before-seen live action.

The European tour continues at London’s O2 arena until 21 January 2018 before heading across the continent to the biggest and best arenas including Belgium, Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Prague.
